Who knew it’d be so hard to get the green paint to match right! We went back to Home Depot, I don’t know how many times, to have them match a green sample. We finally got it to match and are very pleased with the way it turned out!

I’m so glad that our baby girl is doing well. I am so happy the day we get to see our baby girl on the ultrasound! It was amazing to watch all of her movements. At one point she had one leg stretched all the way out, while the other was bent completely in. She is so cute! I am blessed to have such a wonderful wife that is keeping our baby safe during this time of her growth.

Oh my gosh! I had forgotten about trying to sleep in my snow forts. I do remember trying to get Max to pull me in the sled though. He would always turn around, look at me and then climb into the sled next to me like a passenger. He never quite got with the program.
We are planning on getting a dog, we’re just waiting for the right time. Maybe when Mireya is settled and we’ve figured out a routine with her.

Lane, do you remember building snow forts at the house in Sandy and trying to sleep in them? I would discover you missing from the house late on winter nights, and you would be outside planning to sleep in your snow fort, toasty warm. And do you remember hooking Max up to your sled so he could pull you around? Maybe Mireya needs a nice big dog to protect her and play with her in the snow! Remember how Max loved the snow? He never wanted to come in. You should stock up now on little mittens and snow hats. –Mom

This is so cool! I love thinking of her as a person already! Jaime and I are just thrilled about her. It will be so fun to have somewhere to go for updates on her progress, and we hope this website continues after she’s born. (Note to Grandma and Grandpa Ruesch: Ever since I found out she’s a girl, I’ve doubled my vitamins in case she ends up as active as her mother was. Just a heads-up!)
