She cried for the two minutes (or less) that it took for the dentist to clean her teeth, but other than that she LOVED the whole 45 minutes we were there! The dentist was good with her, so I am trying to keep that in mind. I just wish she had gotten better genetics! Jason and I both have mouths full of dental work. :( I do think it is a good idea to get kids used to the dentist. How well I remember those days!!! GAAAAHHHH!!!! I remember having a hell of a migraine one day when Canyon was about 18 mos...l was laying on the couch and he was supposed to be outside with DADDY...next thing I know, WHAM! someone has dropped a fist down right between my eyes. I opened them to see Canyon standing there, two binkies in his mouth, one in each hand. He was mad that I was not UP!! I was not happy. He used to HATE when I would put my sunglasses on top of my head...for some reason that drove him crazy and he would yell in baby talk at me til I took them off my head. WEIRD!!! Or he would grab them off my head and throw them. He didn't like when I wore them because he couldn't see my eyes. LOL!! And girl...OOOO...the worst??? Traveling out of town!!! If we stopped overnight, we absolutely had to have meeyuk for him to drink. He could not go to sleep w/o a bottle or something to drink his meeyuk (milk). Pops had to get up at midnight once and find a 7-11...when he got back, guess who was asleep? It was a nightmare if we didn't have cold meeyuk for him at bedtime!!! And the binkies...always had a mouthful a couple in each hand. We were buying binkies all the time...I have a pic of Canyon sitting in a chair w/3 binkies in his mouth... Even NOW, he does NOT like to feel like he's missing something. We close the doors between 'the game room' and the living room, and he will come out and open them, because he doesn't want to miss ANYTHING. Even with his headphones on, he's like Radar O'Reilly...he knows when we are talking about stuff and will come right out and want in on the conversation... OH LORDIE!!!
